24   And the king said, Bring me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king.
melek⁴⁴²⁸ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ laqach³⁹⁴⁷ chereb²⁷¹⁹ bow'⁹³⁵ chereb²⁷¹⁹ paniym⁶⁴⁴⁰ melek⁴⁴²⁸

25   And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
melek⁴⁴²⁸ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ gazar¹⁵⁰⁴ chay²⁴¹⁶ yeled³²⁰⁶ shnayim⁸¹⁴⁷ nathan⁵⁴¹⁴ chetsiy²⁶⁷⁷ 'echad²⁵⁹ chetsiy²⁶⁷⁷ 'echad²⁵⁹

26   Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
'amar⁵⁵⁹ 'ishshah⁸⁰² chay²⁴¹⁶ ben¹¹²¹ melek⁴⁴²⁸ racham⁷³⁵⁶ kamar³⁶⁴⁸ ben¹¹²¹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ biy⁹⁹⁴ 'adown¹¹³ nathan⁵⁴¹⁴ chay²⁴¹⁶ yalad³²⁰⁵ muwth⁴¹⁹¹ muwth⁴¹⁹¹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ gazar¹⁵⁰⁴

27   Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.
melek⁴⁴²⁸ `anah⁶⁰³⁰ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ nathan⁵⁴¹⁴ chay²⁴¹⁶ yalad³²⁰⁵ muwth⁴¹⁹¹ muwth⁴¹⁹¹ 'em⁵¹⁷

28   And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

2   And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
sar⁸²⁶⁹ `Azaryah⁵⁸³⁸ ben¹¹²¹ Tsadowq⁶⁶⁵⁹ kohen³⁵⁴⁸

3   Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
'Eliychoreph⁴⁵⁶ 'Achiyah²⁸¹ ben¹¹²¹ Shiysah'⁷⁸⁹⁴ caphar⁵⁶⁰⁸ Yhowshaphat³⁰⁹² ben¹¹²¹ 'Achiyluwd²⁸⁶ zakar²¹⁴²

4   And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:
