6   And thy handmaid had two sons, and they two strove together in the field, and there was none to part them, but the one smote the other, and slew him.
shiphchah⁸¹⁹⁸ shnayim⁸¹⁴⁷ ben¹¹²¹ shnayim⁸¹⁴⁷ natsah⁵³²⁷ sadeh⁷⁷⁰⁴ natsal⁵³³⁷ 'echad²⁵⁹ nakah⁵²²¹ 'echad²⁵⁹ muwth⁴¹⁹¹

7   And, behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband neither name nor remainder upon the earth.
mishpachah⁴⁹⁴⁰ quwm⁶⁹⁶⁵ shiphchah⁸¹⁹⁸ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ nathan⁵⁴¹⁴ nakah⁵²²¹ 'ach²⁵¹ muwth⁴¹⁹¹ nephesh⁵³¹⁵ 'ach²⁵¹ harag²⁰²⁶ shamad⁸⁰⁴⁵ yarash³⁴²³ kabah³⁵¹⁸ gechel¹⁵¹³ sha'ar⁷⁶⁰⁴ suwm⁷⁷⁶⁰ 'iysh³⁷⁶ shem⁸⁰³⁴ sh'eriyth⁷⁶¹¹ paniym⁶⁴⁴⁰ 'adamah¹²⁷

8   And the king said unto the woman, Go to thine house, and I will give charge concerning thee.
melek⁴⁴²⁸ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ 'ishshah⁸⁰² yalak³²¹² bayith¹⁰⁰⁴ tsavah⁶⁶⁸⁰

9   And the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father's house: and the king and his throne be guiltless.
'ishshah⁸⁰² Tqow`iy<sup>8621</sup> 'amar<sup>559</sup> melek<sup>4428</sup> 'adown<sup>113</sup> melek<sup>4428</sup> `avon⁵⁷⁷¹ 'ab¹ bayith¹⁰⁰⁴ melek⁴⁴²⁸ kicce'³⁶⁷⁸ naqiy⁵³⁵⁵

10   And the king said, Whosoever saith ought unto thee, bring him to me, and he shall not touch thee any more.
melek⁴⁴²⁸ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶ bow'⁹³⁵ naga`⁵⁰⁶⁰ yacaph³²⁵⁴

11   Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.
'amar⁵⁵⁹ melek⁴⁴²⁸ zakar²¹⁴² Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ 'elohiym⁴³⁰ ga'al¹³⁵⁰ dam¹⁸¹⁸ shachath⁷⁸⁴³ rabah⁷²³⁵ shamad⁸⁰⁴⁵ ben¹¹²¹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ chay²⁴¹⁶ sa`arah⁸¹⁸⁵ ben¹¹²¹ naphal⁵³⁰⁷ 'erets⁷⁷⁶

12   Then the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak one word unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on.
'ishshah⁸⁰² 'amar⁵⁵⁹ shiphchah⁸¹⁹⁸ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶ dabar¹⁶⁹⁷ 'adown¹¹³ melek⁴⁴²⁸ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶

13   And the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as one which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished.
'ishshah⁸⁰² 'amar⁵⁵⁹ chashab²⁸⁰³ `am⁵⁹⁷¹ 'elohiym⁴³⁰ melek⁴⁴²⁸ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶ dabar¹⁶⁹⁷ 'ashem⁸¹⁸ melek⁴⁴²⁸ shuwb⁷⁷²⁵ nadach⁵⁰⁸⁰

14   For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.
