12   For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
yowm³¹¹⁷ Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ tsaba'⁶⁶³⁵ ge'eh¹³⁴³ ruwm⁷³¹¹ nasa'⁵³⁷⁵ shaphel⁸²¹³

13   And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
'erez⁷³⁰ Lbanown³⁸⁴⁴ ruwm⁷³¹¹ nasa'⁵³⁷⁵ 'allown⁴³⁷ Bashan¹³¹⁶

14   And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
ruwm⁷³¹¹ har²⁰²² gib`ah¹³⁸⁹ nasa'⁵³⁷⁵

15   And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
gaboahh¹³⁶⁴ migdal⁴⁰²⁶ batsar¹²¹⁹ chowmah²³⁴⁶

16   And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
'oniyah⁵⁹¹ Tarshiysh⁸⁶⁵⁹ chemdah²⁵³² skiyah⁷⁹¹⁴

17   And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
gabhuwth¹³⁶⁵ 'adam¹²⁰ shachach⁷⁸¹⁷ ruwm⁷³¹² 'enowsh⁵⁸² shaphel⁸²¹³ Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ sagab⁷⁶⁸² yowm³¹¹⁷

18   And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
'eliyl⁴⁵⁷ kaliyl³⁶³² chalaph²⁴⁹⁸

19   And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

20   In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
yowm³¹¹⁷ 'adam¹²⁰ shalak⁷⁹⁹³ 'eliyl⁴⁵⁷ keceph³⁷⁰¹ 'eliyl⁴⁵⁷ zahab²⁰⁹¹ `asah<sup>6213</sup> shachah<sup>7812</sup> chaphor<sup>2661</sup> `atalleph⁵⁸⁴⁷
