12   And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
yowm³¹¹⁷ 'Adonay¹³⁶ Yhovih³⁰⁶⁹ tsaba'⁶⁶³⁵ qara'⁷¹²¹ Bkiy¹⁰⁶⁵ micepd⁴⁵⁵³ qorchah⁷¹⁴⁴ chagar²²⁹⁶ saq⁸²⁴²

13   And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
sasown⁸³⁴² simchah⁸⁰⁵⁷ harag²⁰²⁶ baqar¹²⁴¹ shachat⁷⁸¹⁹ tso'n⁶⁶²⁹ 'akal³⁹⁸ basar¹³²⁰ shathah⁸³⁵⁴ yayin³¹⁹⁶ 'akal³⁹⁸ shathah⁸³⁵⁴ machar⁴²⁷⁹ muwth⁴¹⁹¹

14   And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
galah¹⁵⁴⁰ 'ozen²⁴¹ Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ tsaba'⁶⁶³⁵ `avon⁵⁷⁷¹ kaphar³⁷²² muwth⁴¹⁹¹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ 'Adonay¹³⁶ Yhovih³⁰⁶⁹ tsaba'⁶⁶³⁵

15   Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
'amar⁵⁵⁹ 'Adonay¹³⁶ Yhovih³⁰⁶⁹ tsaba'⁶⁶³⁵ yalak³²¹² bow'⁹³⁵ cakan⁵⁵³² Shebna'⁷⁶⁴⁴ bayith¹⁰⁰⁴

16   What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
chatsab²⁶⁷² qeber,⁶⁹¹³ poh⁶³¹¹ chatsab²⁶⁷² qeber,⁶⁹¹³ marowm⁴⁷⁹¹ chaqaq²⁷¹⁰ mishkan⁴⁹⁰⁸ cela`⁵⁵⁵³

17   Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ tuwl²⁹⁰⁴ geber¹³⁹⁷ taltelah²⁹²⁵ `atah<sup>5844</sup> `atah⁵⁸⁴⁴

18   He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.
tsanaph⁶⁸⁰¹ tsanaph⁶⁸⁰¹ tsnephah⁶⁸⁰² duwr¹⁷⁵⁴ rachab⁷³⁴² 'erets⁷⁷⁶ muwth⁴¹⁹¹ merkabah⁴⁸¹⁸ kabowd³⁵¹⁹ qalown⁷⁰³⁶ 'adown¹¹³ bayith¹⁰⁰⁴

19   And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
Hadaph¹⁹²⁰ matstsab⁴⁶⁷³ ma`amad⁴⁶¹² harac²⁰⁴⁰

20   And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
yowm³¹¹⁷ qara'⁷¹²¹ `ebed⁵⁶⁵⁰ 'Elyaqiym'⁴⁷¹ ben¹¹²¹ Chilqiyah²⁵¹⁸
