19   If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering;

20   If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;
chalats²⁵⁰⁴ barak¹²⁸⁸ chamam²⁵⁵² gez¹⁴⁸⁸ kebes³⁵³²

21   If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:
nuwph⁵¹³⁰ yad³⁰²⁷ yathowm³⁴⁹⁰ ra'ah⁷²⁰⁰ `ezrah<sup>5833</sup> sha`ar⁸¹⁷⁹

22   Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.
katheph³⁸⁰² naphal⁵³⁰⁷ shikmah⁷⁹²⁹ 'ezrowa`²⁴⁸ shabar⁷⁶⁶⁵ qaneh⁷⁰⁷⁰

23   For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.
'eyd³⁴³ 'el⁴¹⁰ pachad⁶³⁴³ s'eth⁷⁶¹³ yakol³²⁰¹

24   If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
suwm⁷⁷⁶⁰ zahab²⁰⁹¹ kecel³⁶⁸⁹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ kethem³⁸⁰⁰ mibtach⁴⁰⁰⁹

25   If I rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had gotten much;
samach⁸⁰⁵⁵ chayil²⁴²⁸ rab⁷²²⁷ yad³⁰²⁷ matsa'⁴⁶⁷² kabbiyr³⁵²⁴

26   If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;
ra'ah⁷²⁰⁰ 'owr²¹⁶ halal¹⁹⁸⁴ yareach³³⁹⁴ halak¹⁹⁸⁰ yaqar³³⁶⁸

27   And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
leb³⁸²⁰ cether⁵⁶⁴³ pathah⁶⁶⁰¹ peh⁶³¹⁰ nashaq⁵⁴⁰¹ yad³⁰²⁷
