9   For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.

10   Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!

11   And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
Balaq¹¹¹¹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ Bil`am<sup>1109</sup> `asah⁶²¹³ laqach³⁹⁴⁷ qabab⁶⁸⁹⁵ 'oyeb³⁴¹ barak¹²⁸⁸ barak¹²⁸⁸

12   And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?
`anah⁶⁰³⁰ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ shamar⁸¹⁰⁴ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶ Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ suwm⁷⁷⁶⁰ peh⁶³¹⁰

13   And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.
Balaq¹¹¹¹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ yalak³²¹² 'acher³¹² maqowm⁴⁷²⁵ ra'ah⁷²⁰⁰ ra'ah⁷²⁰⁰ 'ephec⁶⁵⁷ qatseh⁷⁰⁹⁷ ra'ah⁷²⁰⁰ qabab⁶⁸⁹⁵

14   And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
laqach³⁹⁴⁷ sadeh⁷⁷⁰⁴ Tsophiym⁶⁸³⁹ ro'sh⁷²¹⁸ Picgah⁶⁴⁴⁹ banah¹¹²⁹ sheba`<sup>7651</sup> mizbeach<sup>4196</sup> `alah⁵⁹²⁷ par⁶⁴⁹⁹ 'ayil³⁵² mizbeach⁴¹⁹⁶

15   And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder.
'amar⁵⁵⁹ Balaq¹¹¹¹ yatsab³³²⁰ koh³⁵⁴¹ `olah⁵⁹³⁰ qarah⁷¹³⁶ koh³⁵⁴¹

16   And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.
Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ qarah⁷¹³⁶ Bil`am¹¹⁰⁹ suwm⁷⁷⁶⁰ dabar¹⁶⁹⁷ peh⁶³¹⁰ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ shuwb⁷⁷²⁵ Balaq¹¹¹¹ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶

17   And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What hath the LORD spoken?
bow'⁹³⁵ natsab⁵³²⁴ `olah⁵⁹³⁰ sar⁸²⁶⁹ Mow'ab⁴¹²⁴ Balaq¹¹¹¹ 'amar⁵⁵⁹ Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶
