6   For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Yhovah³⁰⁶⁸ nathan⁵⁴¹⁴ chokmah²⁴⁵¹ peh⁶³¹⁰ da`ath¹⁸⁴⁷ tabuwn⁸³⁹⁴

7   He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

8   He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
natsar⁵³⁴¹ 'orach⁷³⁴ mishpat⁴⁹⁴¹ shamar⁸¹⁰⁴ derek¹⁸⁷⁰ chaciyd²⁶²³

9   Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

10   When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
chokmah²⁴⁵¹ bow'⁹³⁵ leb³⁸²⁰ da`ath<sup>1847</sup> na`em⁵²⁷⁶ nephesh⁵³¹⁵

11   Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
mzimmah⁴²⁰⁹ shamar⁸¹⁰⁴ tabuwn⁸³⁹⁴ natsar⁵³⁴¹

12   To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
natsal⁵³³⁷ derek¹⁸⁷⁰ ra`⁷⁴⁵¹ 'iysh³⁷⁶ dabar¹⁶⁹⁶ tahpukah⁸⁴¹⁹

13   Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
`azab⁵⁸⁰⁰ 'orach⁷³⁴ yosher³⁴⁷⁶ yalak³²¹² derek¹⁸⁷⁰ choshek²⁸²²

14   Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
