31   He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.

32   He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
nathan⁵⁴¹⁴ barad¹²⁵⁹ geshem¹⁶⁵³ lehabah³⁸⁵² 'esh⁷⁸⁴ 'erets⁷⁷⁶

33   He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
nakah⁵²²¹ gephen¹⁶¹² t'en⁸³⁸⁴ shabar⁷⁶⁶⁵ `ets⁶⁰⁸⁶ gbuwl¹³⁶⁶

34   He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
'amar⁵⁵⁹ 'arbeh⁶⁹⁷ bow'⁹³⁵ yekeq³²¹⁸ micpar⁴⁵⁵⁷

35   And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
'akal³⁹⁸ `eseb⁶²¹² 'erets⁷⁷⁶ 'akal³⁹⁸ priy⁶⁵²⁹ 'adamah¹²⁷

36   He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
nakah⁵²²¹ bkowr¹⁰⁶⁰ 'erets⁷⁷⁶ re'shiyth⁷²²⁵ 'own²⁰²

37   He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
yatsa'³³¹⁸ keceph³⁷⁰¹ zahab²⁰⁹¹ kashal³⁷⁸² shebet⁷⁶²⁶

38   Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.

39   He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
